OBJECT DEFINITIONS

This dimension is used to describe the service or commodity obtained as the result of a specific expenditure. There are nine major object categories which may be further subdivided. For state reporting, all expenditures must be classified to the objects described herein as state-required objects. Refer to Table C-2 Job Code Description By Object on page 3.21 through 3.28 of the CPI Manual for listing of job related codes.
