October 25, 2011 -- State Board of Education member Dr. Mary Sue Murray was selected to the National Association of State Boards of Education (NASBE) Board of Directors for the Southern Region.
Dr. Murray was selected to the Board of Directors during the NASBE Annual Conference held in Atlanta, October 13-15, 2011. Her term will begin January 2012 and she will serve two years.

Dr. Murray was originally appointed by the Governor to represent Congressional District 13 on February 13, 2003 and re-appointed January 1, 2009. Her current term expires January 1, 2016. To read more about Dr. Murray please click here.
