February 1, 2012-  Are you interested in learning more about public education in Georgia? Do you have suggestions that may help Georgia lead the nation in improving student achievement? If so, you may want to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to speak directly to the State Board of Education Member Dan Israel representing your area – the Fourth Congressional District.

Mr. Israel welcomes you to an open public hearing taking place on Thursday, Febraury 2, 2012. The meeting will be held from 7:00 – 8:00 PM at the Lakeside High School Auditorium, 3801 Briarcliff Rd, Atlanta GA 30045.

Whether you’re a teacher, parent, student, or simply a concerned citizen – you are encouraged to take part in this important event. Your feedback is critical as the State Board of Education and the State School Superintendent work together to insure that all Georgia students are receiving an excellent education.
