Program/Unit: State Schools/Office of Policy and External Affairs
Description of Duties: This is a temporary hourly paid position performing professional education services. The duties include but are not limited to providing parent education up to 5 families that have children with hearing loss; Early Hearing Orientation visits to families that have children with hearing loss; training or update training for parent advisors; representing Georgia PINES in attending or presenting in regional or national meetings or conferences; supporting; parent advisors by phone consultation or joint visits to the families; performing clerical or office work and enter data into database.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university
Preferred Qualifications: Master Degree or higher in Education of Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Speech Pathology, Audiology, or Listening, Speaking and Language Therapy
Salary/Benefits: Part-time, hourly position with no benefits. Hourly pay rate is commensurate with education level and employment experience.
